Khaliya Top is located in a beautiful place called Munsiyari in the district of Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. It is situated an astonishing altitude of 3500 metres above sea level. This place is rich in amazing scenic view which are mesmerizing your lifetime moments. Khaliya is about 130 km from the main city Pithoragarh. Once you reach there you can see beautiful views of the Panchachuli, Rajrambha, Hardeol and Nanda Kot peaks. Khaliya Top trek is a gift for trekking lovers and also allows you to see the hikers the snowline in early summers. The trek route is at a distance of 8km from the main road. You can also camp thereafter trekking. If you are an animal lover or photographer you can also see different species like Monal, Ghurar, Kakad, Baral.
Best time to visit:
- If you are
planning to visit Khaliya Top the August and September month is the best time.
In this time you cant face too much rainy season. In rainy season you may have
to face the landslide on this side and stuck there.
- You can also visit here in March and April after the winter season. In winter month December and January you can't sleep well in Camp but if you planning to go in winter you should stay in KMVN(KumounMandal Vikas Nigam) guest house.
