Tunkhola waterfall located in Pithoragarh district in the beautiful state of Uttarakhand. This waterfall is located in a beautiful village called Kande-kiroli near Thal-Berinag in Pithoragarh. This place is now very famous through social media as everyone goes to that place and upload the beautiful waterfall pictures. Time to time it is a noted place for local tourist. Best time to visit:
· The best seasons to visit the Tunkhola waterfall area in the summer months of June and March and after the post-monsoon period from September and November. This period is best for swimming lovers.
· You can visit Tunkhola waterfall also in September-October month but this time water is too cold for swimming
How to reach:
· The nearest railway station is Kathgodam(Haldwani) in Nainital district and Tanakpur in Champwat district.
· You can travel by road to Haldwani-Berinag-Thal that can be reached through Kande-Kiroli village road.
· You can also reach here by a bus service that can take around 8-10 hours from Delhi to Haldwani and from there you can travel through in Kumaun region bus and hire a taxi to reach there.
