It is located in the Indian Territory in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand within the Indo-Tibetan border from 3KM far from Adi Kailash. The lake is situated at 4498 m height . Parvati Sarovar lake is holy lake for Lord Shiva and goddess Parvati. Adi Kailash is a popular pilgrimage of the Hindu devotees. You can also see the Gauri Kund which is on the very foot of Adi Kailash.This is equivalent to Kailash Mansarovar.

The trek to Parvati Sarovar begins from beautiful tribal village Tawaghat.You can also see a trek route sinla pass trek and Kutti trek. Kutti is a beautiful small tribal village.
How to reach:
The nearst railway staion is Tanakpur and Kathgodam. from there you can easily found a transport to Dharchula. From Dharchula it is a 3 hour drive to Tawaghat along a windy road through the small tribal villages.
